Image One 27 Counselling

Counselling therapy begins with creating a safe place to engage in conversations that will lead to opening space for growth and new ways of seeing ourselves and others.

What do we believe?

At Image One 27 Counselling, we believe that the counselling process is a vital component of health and wellness.

The over-arching goal of the individual counselling endeavour is personal growth and enhance self-care within whichever circumstances or difficulties a person is navigating.

Relationship and family counselling promote new ways of connecting and interacting within the specific circumstances of those attachments.

The narrative approach

The counsellor prefers what is called a "narrative" approach which allows for the person to tell their story in a non-judgmental setting.

The person is supported and counselled as they re-write or re-author their personal and family narrative in a way that is healing and re-creative.
